If you think the English are shy prudes, and the French are free and adventurous - see the above images There was a time when the idea of a nudist club was outrageous, there was a time when laws were seriously considered to be necessary against Jazz music, (I'm serious), there was a time when some people chose to be offended by the simple naked human body, in whatever context. While I'd like to think these times would be behind us by now, we live in the real world, and so, starting with an interesting article on the historical precedents of nudity here is a list of organisations which are currently battling to change the dubious legal status of the law being abused by being misused against people being naked in public.
