What woman doesn't like to be admired for her hairstyle, her jewelry, her figure-hugging clothes, the alluring show-as-much-as-possible bikini? All her "add-ons" are to make her more attractive, to make other people, (women as well as men), turn their heads and look. In fact, women dress up to turn women's heads, as much or even more, than men's, apparently.

What man doesn't like to see heads turn to admire the flashy sports car, the hard ripply muscles (temporarily), the expensive watch, (is it really a rolex...?), to show off their huge lawn or new TV. I may be the richest, most beautiful, the most succesful, most mostest person around, but if no-one notices, what's the point?

As an evolutionary success story, and to ensure we meet the most suitable mate for procreation purposes, we're all exhibitionists at heart. This means that being an exhibitionist is more or less a natural state for all of us to some degree or other.
