This map is here to help like-minded people find the many places around Europe where it is ok to be naked, with or without company, and on a regular basis. Locations include private clubs, open clubs, public beaches, off-the-beaten-track lakes and riversides; famous wide-open places like the Englischer Garten in the centre of the city of Munich in Germany, and little-known places like your favorite unofficial haunt.

Tips for helpful editing.

The interface is clean, and there are simple and comprehensive instructions on the site. The main thing to remember is to be as concise and as accurate as you can with the information. Simple sticks in the sand are of no use to anyone. Clear names, addresses, descriptions and locations, urls and contact info, and using the correct coloured markersare the key to making this a useful resource. Remember too, this map is open to everyone to edit, in a similar vein to the Wikipedia Naked Hiking entry, so please enter data carefully. One point worthy of particular note is, when creating a new entry or marker: if you can specify the location by address and postcode, and the system finds it correctly, all well and good. If however you wish to specify the location by clicking on the map, you should always add the country and the county area, otherwise the wrong default will be used, which will adversely affect future searches!
