I recently encountered an article on hiking barefoot. It seems like the ultimate nude hiking. I took my hiking sandals off for 20 minutes or so yesterday on one of my normal hikes. I think I liked it...

My last post here was about a month ago, so I thought it was time for another. I am now able to hike one of my regular routes from parking lot to the top; about 3 miles. A couple things I have learned: barefooting is very technical. Being able top choose good footfalls quickly is key. You also use a...

Walking barefoot has its advantages but you have to be very careful and more when it is in trails ... I also like to be barefoot ,,, almost always I am when I go out to the patio.
I would like to do those walks that you do ...

Well, if I can do it you can too. Just go a little bit at a time. Just remember that the weight of each step is 80% on the ball of your foot. The heel can touch the ground but not bear weight (unless you're 100% sure in that moment there isn't anything pokey that will hurt.

Very sorry to hear it. But, yes, let's find another time this summer. I'd like that.

Solstice is in about a month and this is a traditional day for a naked hike. Is anything planned in the northeast? I'm thinking of a day in Vermont, relatively naturist friendly.

I'm in! See the message I sent with a proposed hike. Can change details to suit.

Evening all!

Reading through the posts I feel quite dull coming from the north of England. I am a solitary 55 year old who has been getting naked at every opportunity possible since being a teenager (s...

Like you, I am a solo walker when in the UK. Not because I would not welcome company but because I don't know anyone to accompany me. I tend to limit nude waking to Exmoor, Dartmoor and mid Wales, where there are few people and you can see others coming miles away. I'm looking forward to NEWT again ...

Not dull at all Desi, probably typical of a lot of us.

I climbed Shining Tor earlier this year, but as the sun wasn't (shining) and there were textiles about, I stayed clothed Unhappy I was able to go naked later in my walk - see my 'Peak District' album (Errwood Hall, etc. pictures).

Enjoyed a long walk along the West River near Brattleboro Vermont (USA). Passed by a bicyclist and a pair of joggers with only a smile and a nod.
