Hi Marc, traveling the tent group is light traveling, since you only can bring what fits in your rucksack. We refill our food every second day at the hut, so you can travel with around 15 kgs.

Dear Marc,
Unfortunately I have to undergo a hernia surgery. I would have to offer a place in the hut for NEWT 2017. Please answer asap.

Just letting everyone know I am in good hiking form and looking forward to NEWT2017, and meeting old and new friends. My air ticket is bought. I must get a 1:50000 (or better) map of the area. Any sug...

Good idea. Let's set out our itinerary here. I'll arrive in Munich and spend a couple of nights around Lake Chiemsee before taking a train to Worgl and a bus to the nearest village to the hut. After spending a delightful week in NEWT 2017, I'll be making my way slowly to Vienna from where I'll fly t...

If you have to fly for 13 to 14 hours from the other side of the globe, you won't want to fly 13 to 14 hours back after a week. I wish I didn't live so far away.

My kids are only free from about the middle of next week to mid-June. So, I'll be taking them to Norway next week but we'll have to be back home in mid-June. Last year, my family holiday ended a week before NEWT started and I could see my family off at Zurich airport before making my way slowly to S...

Actually the local specialty is schnapps made from white beetroot. No doubt our rental is conditional on consuming a certain amount each per day.

This is mostly in response to a message by Lim that appeared elsewhere. He said he'd had a colonoscopy, as we're supposed to do as we ripen and mature, and he'd let himself be a little hypochondriac a...
Happy Bare
I dont think that you need a colonoscopy to sign up for a Newt walk, but it doesn't hurt a lot to be sure you are cancer free, at least there.

Last year Richard did not let us know the exact location until very near the time off the trip, just the nearest town. Don't know when Pascal will give us details.

It's clear from what we've been told that the nearest town with a station is Wörgl, which is significantly west of Salzburg, in fact closer to Innsbruck. From there, it would be nice if people who have cars will volunteer to meet non-drivers, in the spirit of naturist fellowship! Otherwise, our week...

Well, that's good news. We need to have as much women on board as possible. You girls and ladies are key to spread the message about naturism.

30+ years is too good to expect. But I have this feeling that manufacturers these days are getting smart. Things don't last as long as they used to. When they last for a long time, the manufacturers are the losers because they can't make another sale. Sometimes I wonder if they engineer some weaknes...
