Friend requests and profiles.

It's nice to connect with naktiv.net again. It's been off our radar for a while. The problem is I seem to spend most of my time going through friend requests and messages leaving little or no time to see what else is going on. Apologies to our existing friends for being so useless. We'll try to keep on top of it from now on.

We are strong advocates of being open & honest about the clothes free aspect of our lives. Can't really avoid it, given what we do to earn a living but nonetheless it's our belief that it can only be good for naturism if more people were open about who they are and what they enjoy.

It is with this in mind that we support the Naktiv.net verification process. No verification process is faultless but the one employed on this site is about as good as it can get. Consequently, we do urge all Naktiv.net members seeking to add us as friends to complete the process. It doesn't require you to post your verification photographs for all to see and nor should you. Likewise, it's nice to see a comprehensive profile which gives an insight into who you are. So, if you're looking to increase your circle of friends on Naktiv.net please consider completing your profile and verification process.

That said, I fully understand that there are people for whom being open about their interest in naturism could have significant impact on their careers, social standing and relationships with friends and family. Sad but true. To those people I would say it's even more important to somehow get that message across in a carefully thought out profile. In many cases the fears are largely unfounded and who better to support you than Naktiv.net members who have already worked their way through those fears. If you don't tell us – how can we help?

Finally, can someone please explain why genuine members are willing to post photos (allegedly) of themselves for all to see but not go through the verification process? What am I missing?

I'll get off my soap box now 🙂

Steve

  1. Hi Bob, yes I do recall you explaining why you don't try to go through the verification process. Good points – well made – apologies for assuming that everyone is confident about going through the technical steps. Happy to make your certification my mission for 2016 if you need help but also totally understand your "it doesn't really" matter comment 🙂 We could walk through the process here step by step and it might serve as a useful guide to anyone else in a similar position. What say you? You up for it?

  2. Hi Steve. I can't recall if we have previously met on some other forum though I've been a "real person" on various nudist forums for a long while. The verification process loses me at step #1 with its "screenshot" requirement since that would require me to figure out how to do that on my PC, and so forth. I can assure you that I am a "real person". I'm not really big on collecting on-line "friends" so it doesn't really matter.

    Having a nice day naked.
