| About me | Home nudist since 1984-5 when I moved into a townhouse in Florida where I had a semi-private deck. Whole body suntan there if no one was working on the roof of nearby townhouses, hah. Noticed nudist resorts were discriminatory towards single males, so didn't bother with them until 2008. I joined AANR in 2007 and visited the links to AANR associated resorts until I finally found several that would let single males in the gate. Went first to Lake Como for a three day weekend and immediately loved being naked all the time, indoors or out. Lake Como, alas, was too far away for daytripping. I next went to Cypress Cove several weeks later (they had a policy of letting single males in if they had previously shown they 'behaved' in a social nudity setting. My Lake Como visit thus qualified me for admission, as well as my membership in AANR and TNS. I liked Cypress Cove so much I signed up for a full memembership at the end of my first day visit, and have belonged since then – 6 years. I've also daytripped to Sunsport Gardens, Sunnier Palms, and Gulf Coast Resort. In 2012 I attended a conference in San Diego, CA and prior to the conference spent 5 days at Glen Eden Resort and 4 days at De Anza Springs Resort, loving both of them. I'm now retired, but haven't been able to do much more than deck tan – only a few daytrips to Cypress Cove. |
| Who I'd like to meet | Anyone. I'm 69, so probably would relate better to 'older' people, but all my work life was spent with (mostly) much younger professionals, so I'm not uncomfortable around younger folks. I'm single/divorced and have found that most nudists at the resorts I visit come as a couple. As many times as I've visited Cypress Cove I've not developed many friendships with the nudists there. The people I know best are the bartenders and waiters/waitresses, DJ Xavier, etc. Not many singles there, male or female. Oh, well. . . |

The Eagles are my favorite group. Don't care much for country music. I grew up 90 miles from Detroit and heard far too much Soul Music. I now don't like soul, r & b, hip hop, rap, etc.Some New AgeI began learning the guitar in Jan 2014. I played cornet in high school, and tried piano/keyboards for 3 years about 12 – 15 years ago. |

| Other | naturism, I live 17 miles/30 minute drive from Playalinda Beach at Cape Canaveral National Seashore. My naturist experiences there happened quite a while ago. I love taking long, naked walks north from the last parking area. As for sunbaking, mostly just north of the 'couples' area. Kind of between them and the gay men. Especially don't like getting bitten by horseflies and small greenish deer flies. This can happen on the walks, too.homebrewing beer, cider, and mead. By only cider won a silver medal at the last competition (fall, 2015) sponsered by the local homebrew club (Spacecoast Associates for the Advancement of Zymurgy — S.A.A.Z). I even hesitated entering it because I enjoyed drinking it and had to give up 3 bottles for the judging. I guess I'm glad I did (I can always make more <grin>) music – beginning guitar player, listen to most music types except rap, hip hop, r & b. Love the Eaglestechnology – hardware and software. For example, I've owned a personal computer since 1980 (not the same one, though. I upgrade every 3 to 4 years).science – I was a research microbiologist for 31 years with a NASA contractor at Kennedy Space Center. Many science interests, especially biology.No religious interests at all.Political moderate. Although I've noticed the effects of the Tea Party has driven me a bit further to the left.Now that I've retired, I intend to get involved/volunteer for environmental causes, alternative energy, etc. |
