Who knows about Prophet Isaiah and Prophet Micah?…

Best Answer: Isaiah and Micah have live in the same period of time.
Both of them prophesied about Jesus' birth.
< And you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, the one too little to get to be among the thousands of Judah, from you there will come out to me the one who is to become ruler in Israel, whose origin is from early times, from the days of time indefinite.> (Micah 5:2)
< Therefore Jehovah himself will give YOU men a sign: Look! The maiden herself will actually become pregnant, and she is giving birth to a son, and she will certainly call his name Immanuel.> (Isaiah 7:14)

Isaiah lived in Jerusalem. Micah was a rural prophet from the village of Moresheth in the fertile Shephelah, southwest of Jerusalem.
Isaiah wrote his book in Jerusalem and Micah in Judah.
The period to which their writings refer differs: Isaiah c. 778–after 732 B.C.E. and Micah c. 777–717 B.C.E.

Isaiah’s name means “Salvation of Jehovah,” and this could well be called the theme of his message. True, some of Isaiah’s prophecies are of judgment. Still, the theme of salvation comes through loud and clear. Repeatedly, Isaiah related how in due time Jehovah would release the Israelites from captivity in Babylon, allowing a remnant to return to Zion and bring the land back to its former splendor.

The name Micah is a shortened form of Michael (meaning, “Who Is Like God?“) or Micaiah (meaning, “Who Is Like Jehovah?”). The book contains rebukes, warnings of punishment, and promises of blessing. It talks about the punishment of Samaria, Zion and Jerusalem, about “the final part of the days” when Jehovah’s worship at his mountain will be restored and what God wants from us: “to exercise justice and to love kindness and to be modest in walking with [him}.”
