I’m undecided as to whether forums are useful for this site, or
whether groups would be more useful, or neither.
Groups seem useful for gathering people of like-minds together. Forums
appear useful for nested topics.
Part of the rational for not initiating either yet is that I while I
see some forum sites as being well organized and useful, I also see
many where the community is very inactive, and there are too many
topics and people don’t follow them. The new paradigm appears to be
blogging, but blogs + forums + groups seems to me to duplicate some of
the same territory.
Feedback, in the form of comments against this post, would be very
