I am one half of an active, engaged and energetic naturist couple. We reside in one of North America's grand spots along the west shore of Lake Michigan and, in the warmer months, enjoy the pleasures of naked beach-combing, swimming and simple lounging. However this is not a naturist hot spot to say the least. The are not any clothing optional clubs or camps or gathering places within a three hour drive and the remote natural areas (which are numerous) are wonderful but devoid of fellow naturist travelers.
|Who I'd like to meet||
We seek like minded people to exchange thoughts and ideas with, to gain inspiration from, and if the fates be willing to meet here or elsewhere. We travel a good deal (Winter is long!)and we prefer to find places that encourage natural life and foster the joy of being human.
We enjoy cinema and find its absence in our remote region most unfortunate. However we compensate with much streaming from the interwebs and dot our trips to "real" cities with an afternoon or two in the company of others in dark rooms with flickering images.
If it is live and includes a guitar you will find us near the front, often with a glass in hand. We have traveled considerable distances for certain performers and performances and are happy to share those experiences with you, both in retrospect and next month! Academically we both studied European music of the baroque and later periods and still hold a great fondness for well performed orchestral and chamber works. While our television is seldom used (exception for film as noted above) you will find our home filled with music. Personally, we both studied instrumental performance but only one maintains anything near competency!
|Clubs, organizations or federations||
We are both professionally employed and maintain our competencies and skills in the requisite fashion, endeavors which take considerable, otherwise "free" time. Beyond those pursuits we read voraciously, enjoy film (as noted above), walk, cycle, swim and paddle. Travel interests and excites us to the point that we hold our passports at the constant ready despite being three hundred miles from the nearest (Canadian) border crossing. Over-arcing across all things is a love of nature and natural living, a commitment to tolerance and free expression and a desire to learn and explore each and every day. Life is to be lived and we truly relish and hunger for new experiences and discoveries whether about ourselves, the world at large or you.
